Construction work is going on all over Leeds city centre - and these are the most exciting plans set to overhaul the skyline.
These 10 developments are currently being constructed, or in the planning stages, and could transform the shape of the city.
TRANSFORMED: Work started on CEG's 350m South Bank development.
A huge 600m masterplan has been approved by the council. The plan includes a hotel, a multi-storey car park, 200 homes and 830,000 square feet of office space.(Credit: www.paulwhite.co.uk)
A giant crane was erected in May to build a 37-floor student skyscraper on Lovell Park Road, next to the Merrion Centre. The building will include 752 bedrooms and will be the tallest in Yorkshire with a height of 114.3m.
There are early plans for a huge development on the former Tetleys Brewery site. The plans would include office blocks, 850 homes, hotel facilities with around 400 rooms and a five-acre urban park. (Credit: Vastint)
