Police trawl CCTV as investigation into crying girl '˜taken' by man in Leeds continues
Police in Leeds yesterday (Sunday) issued an appeal via social media for information on the incident, which had prompted a concerned call.
The girl, who was aged three or four, was seen crying in the street near the Crown Point retail park at around 2.20pm.

This morning police said they were yet to trace the man, but there had been no reports of a young girl being missing or abducted.
Officers are trawling CCTV footage of the area in a bid to track down the man and girl and are keen to hear from anyone with information.
A spokesman said it could be a completely innocent situation but they had a duty to investigate fully when suspicions had been raised.

Hide AdThe girl is described as white with blonde hair and was wearing a pink jacket and grey tights.
The man had dark, spiky hair. He was wearing a blue or black three-quarter length coat and had a light green or blue shoulder bag.
