Police appeal for witnesses after drivers are seriously injured in West Yorkshire crash

Two people were seriously injured in a road smash near Featherstone.

The junction of Sewerbridge Lane and Ackton Hall Crescent.

The incident happened on Sewerbridge Lane, near to the junction with Ackton Hall Crescent, at about 9.30am on Thursday.

A Vauxhall Corsa travelling towards Featherstone was in collision with a Vauxhall Mokka heading in the opposite direction.

The injured men, one aged 64 and the other aged 63, were the drivers of the vehicles.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision to contact the Safer Roads and Neighbourhoods Support Team East on 101, quoting log reference 0468 of June 8.
