The business had to move from its Kirkstall Road premises after being deluged on Boxing Day and has now set up base in the relative dryness of Headingley. Matthew Pedder, who runs the shop, had to find homes for about 250 animals while the mPhotoove took place. He said: “I don’t know if I could go through that again. It’s a bit worrying being in that area and thinking that it could flood.”

At the time he said takings had dropped, adding: “If trade picks up in Headingley, we should be OK.”
