Photo essay: Leeds powerchair athletes are turning on the style

LFPC uses local resources to provide activities to all club members, such as the David Young Community academy and East Leeds academy where Saturday Morning and Wednesday evening sessions take place.

The Club has members from a range of ages and disabilities, and the current group of players ranges from 10-year-olds to middle aged adults.

Paul Gorman of LPFC said “Anyone with a disability is welcome to join in, we never turn players away.

“All the coaches, team members, technicians etc are volunteers and the club is supported by a number of highly prized spnosors.”

These sponsors include Switalski’s solicitors, Verified Security Systems and MG Car Sales.
