Farm manager Martin Hodgson planted his first tree on the site in 1996 and now 20 years later there are more than 18,000 being grown at any one time.

All cut trees are displayed without nets so that customers can choose exactly the right shape for their home. They are then netted up.

And the farm even offers a ‘cut your own’ service where buyers can browse the plantation to choose and chop down their perfect Christmas centrepiece.
