Yorkshire's smoking death hotspots revealed - this is how Leeds compares

The number of smokers in Leeds has nearly halved over the last 25 years, but smoking related deaths in the city remain high compared to the rest of the country.

NHS Digital have released the figures on smoking-related deaths in Yorkshire.

According to new figures released by NHS Digital, there were 300 smoking related deaths per 100,000 people in Yorkshire and the Humber between 2015 and 2017. Find out how Leeds compares to other authority areas in the region.
