A dad from Leeds has been praised after creating incredible glowstick costumes for his children.

Video footage which has gone viral online shows Anthony Theabould, from Leeds, dancing to 'Stayin' Alive' by the Bee Gees dressed in a glowstick suit.

After posting the footage on local forum Leedsplace, Anthony was praised by hundreds of parents who wanted to copy the idea for their children.

Anthony told the Yorkshire Evening Post: "We were stuck in quarantine with the children and looking for things to keep busy.

"Lockdown doesn't need to be boring.

"A few tubs of glow sticks and some tape and you're good to go!

"Your children will love making videos to make their family and friends smile and it will keep them occupied for a few hours while on lockdown!"

Other videos have now been posted of children dancing to a variety of music during lockdown lit up by glowsticks.

One parent said: "What a brilliant idea! I will be helping my kids to make a costume."

Another said: "Love the song and never seen anything like this. A cheap way to entertain the kids."
