Leeds basks in the summer sun: Six pictures of the day

After what feels like the longest winter Leeds is finally basking in the summer sun.

People made the most of the weather while they were out and about across the city from parks, to high streets and canals.

Temperatures hit the mid 20s today and the heatwave is set to continue throughout the week and into the weekend.
