Staffie cross abandoned in West Yorkshire looking for new home after incredible recovery

A staffie cross who was abandoned in West Yorkshire by his owner is looking for a new home after being nursed back to full health by the RSPCA Leeds, Wakefield & District Branch.

Kobi is a Brindle and White coloured dog who was "extremely thin" and had muscle wastage when he arrived at the branch.

However - alongside help from his foster carers - the branch has managed to help his recovery and he is now "getting stronger and putting on weight everyday".

The branch now said Kobi is ready to find his "forever home".

In a social media post, the RSPCA Leeds, Wakefield & District Branch said: "Kobi is always on the go and you'll definitely be his best friend if you play with him and his tennis ball!

"He is a very sweet boy, very sociable and can live with children of over 8 years old.

"Because he was left abandoned, Kobi does struggle with separation anxiety and therefore, he would need a home that understands this is something that will need to be managed.

"He could also live with a similar sized dog who could help him build his confidence when left alone, subject to a successful meet and greet at the centre."
