Staff at Kirkgate Shopping Centre, Bradford said the shop had been at "full capacity".
In order to protect staff, the store was closed early.

In a Facebook post, Kirkgate said: "Primark has been extremely busy today and are currently at full capacity.
"The decision has been made to stop entry into the store from immediate effect. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause to our shoppers.
"This decision has been made to safeguard both staff and customers. Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to welcoming you back tomorrow."
