QTS Group pledges donation to help The Leeds North and West Foodbank

National rail infrastructure maintenance company QTS Group has pledged a donation to help The Leeds North and West Foodbank.

The foodbank helps local families and individuals every week, with the number requiring help expected to increase due to the current crisis.

Alan McLeish, managing director of QTS, which has an office in Springwell Court, Leeds, said: “Everyone in society is being hit by this pandemic, but no more so than the most vulnerable in our communities.

“As a local employer and business, we wanted to be able to give something back to the community that could have an instant impact.

“The volume of individuals and families relying on foodbanks is only going to increase with the current situation so we felt that making a monetary donation to The Leeds North and West Foodbank would help to ease the pressure, even a little.”

The firm has made donations to charities and foodbanks across the communities where it has offices.
