Power cut at more than 600 West Yorkshire homes

More than 600 homes have lost power in West Yorkshire today.

In BD1 and BD15 in Bradford, a total of 560 homes are currently without power according to the Northern Powergrid.

The powercut has been caused by an unexpected problem with the cables or equipment that serve the area, according to the live map.

In Leeds, homes in LS15 and LS25 are also without power.

In addition, more than 100 homes in LS14 and LS29 have suffered a power cut.

The power is due to be restored across the region by 6pm.

Northern Powergrid said: "Our team are working hard to restore your power as quickly as possible."
