Power cut at 300 Yorkshire homes

At least 300 homes across Yorkshire have lost power according to the Northern Powergrid.

The powercut has been caused by an unexpected problem with the cables or equipment that serve the areas, according to the live map.

The following postcodes have been affected by power cuts in the region:

LS8: 80

PA PowercutPA Powercut
PA Powercut

LS11: 140

WF6,WF9: 60

DN6 9BU: 20

The power is due to be restored across Leeds by later this evening.

However, restoration times have not been updated for other postcodes across Yorkshire.

Northern Powergrid said: "Our team are working hard to restore your power as quickly as possible."
