A power cut is affecting almost 600 homes in Leeds - with no estimate of when power will return.

Homes in the LS12 postcode area have lost power according to the Northern Powergrid live map.

The outage was first reported at 11.45am on Tuesday morning (March 23).

Bramley and Kirkstall homes are believed to be the worst affected.

Northern Powergrid said its team "are working hard to restore your power as quickly as possible".

The live map update states: "The power cut affecting your property has been caused by an unexpected problem with the cables or equipment that serve your area."
