The owner prepared around 500 dough bases as demand was expected to be very high.

Speaking to the YEP on Monday, Junaid said: "We have one branch in Beeston already and this is our second branch.

"The offer we have is that anyone who comes down to our new shop can have a free 11” pizza, no strings attached.

"We reckon that we will have around 350-500 people turning up today and we have enough stock for 500 pizzas."

The shop will not be operating deliveries on Monday night and all giveaway pizzas will be in person.

Junaid urged customers to follow social distancing rules.

He added: "We would like to thank the local residents for the immense support they've shown us so far.

"We invite everyone to come down today and try our food."

True to his word, Junaid told the YEP he gave away all 500 pizzas which had been prepared.

Many gave glowing reviews on social media after collecting their food.
