Outrage after fairy doors and houses ripped from trees in Calverley Woods
The fairy theme was part of a popular trail, with many locations across the city.
However, one resident told the YEP she discovered the doors had been ripped down from the trunks and dumped in a pile at the bottom of the woods, near Leeds Liverpool canal.
The trail runs across Calverley, the resident said.

Hide AdShe added: "I spotted yesterday that someone has ripped down most of the fairy garden houses in the woods.
Too neatly stacked to be bored kids I think.
"Someone has left the more subtle wooden ones and taken the rest down."
After she posted pictures of the damage to a local Facebook forum, other residents shared their dismay at why anyone would ruin the display.
One resident said: "Why would they do that? So cruel."
Another added: "Shocking. We can't have anything now."
