The Kirkstall store - based in Cardigan Fields - rang staff at a hospital in Leeds to ask if they would like some free food delivering.

Hours later, the chain delivered 80 chicken wings and spicy rice to the ward.

The ward clerk said staff were so grateful.

She said: "It certainly brightened up our day!"

The food was delivered with a note to staff.

The note read: "Just something to say thank you for all your hard work.

"Love, team Cardigan Fields."
