More than 3,000 Leeds home affected by power cut
More than 3,000 homes in Leeds have been affected after a power cut in Leeds.
Six areas in Leeds have experienced an unplanned power cut, affecting 3,270 homes.
Northern Powergrid says that postcodes LS16,LS5,LS6 LS10,LS4 and LS5 are affected.
The power cuts were reported to the electricity provider at about 4pm.
An update on the website reads: "The power cut affecting your property has been caused by an unexpected problem with the cables or equipment that serve your area.
"We are currently working hard to restore your power however we are unable to provide an accurate restoration time.
"Please call us on 105 if you have any specific questions."
The Northern Powergrid website estimates that the power will be restored between 5.30pm and 5.45pm.
