TikTok is a social app that allows users to make short videos with filters, texts and sound.

It is especially popular to make creative, lip-synched music videos.

Rhy said his followers are increasing at a rapid rate across TikTok and Instagram on a daily basis.

He uses his popular Yorkshire accent to entertain viewers on the video app - which he says his followers love.

Rhys said: "I started TikTok around November 2018, and made my first video in my car at break at work.

"It was an effortless video of me miming to a movie clip and somehow it blew up a bit.

"I’ve always been the social media kind of type, I also have a youtube channel too so TikTok was the app that everyone was on so I just gave it ago."

Rhys said the followers quickly started rolling in.

He added: "I found that the cringey the video the more views, likes and followers I gained.

"None of my friends were really on the app at the start but now all of my friends seem to be.

"I appreciate all the people that have taken their time to follow me and show interest in what I do to be honest."

Rhys even said he had been recognised in Leeds from fans and followers.

He said: "[My] followers are growing everyday, I still make some miming to trending songs on the app, I also do videos repeating words and names in my Yorkshire accent which for some reason people on the app seem to love.

"My family has always been supportive.

"I will continue to do it and hopefully it can land me in some sort of influencer position making entertaining videos for a career."
