Burrow, who retired in 2017 after winning the Grand Final, was diagnosed with motor neurone disease last month at the age of 37. There is no cure for the degenerative neurological condition.

When is kick-off and how can I watch the match?

Leeds Rhinos v Bradford Bulls kicks off at Emerald Headingley Stadium at 3pm.

All 21,000 tickets for the clash sold out after it was announced that the game would be played in Rob's honour.

However, Sky Sports have agreed to broadcast it live and will be donating all of their expenses to the appeal. It's the first time they've ever shown a benefit match on TV.

As it's a pre-Super League warm-up fixture, both clubs will field strong squads. New Rhinos signings Matt Prior and Alex Mellor are expected to make their debuts.

But there will be cameo appearances from a number of Rhinos legends from the 'golden generation' that played alongside Rob, including Jamie Jones-Buchanan, Jamie Peacock, Kevin Sinfield, Danny McGuire and Kylie Leuluai.

Rob himself is also hoping to play and is likely to walk onto the pitch with his wife Lindsey and children Macy, Maya and Jackson.

Full teams will be released shortly before kick-off.

What is the latest on Rob's condition?

He has been to see a specialist who classed him as a 'borderline' case of the disease. He was told he could live for several years, and possibly up to 10.

He is also hoping to become eligible to take part in trials for new treatments.
