G-Wu, in Moortown, has run an annual fundraising event in November since it opened in 2011.
Unable to host an event this year, manager Kin Bang searched for another way that the restaurant could give back to the community.

The food was packed up and delivered by Homeless Street Angels to those living on the streets.
Ms Bang said: “Every week we packed up sweet and sour chicken, chicken curry and rice and we got feedback that they loved the food.
“We were open and doing normal takeaway service at the time, so it was tough trying to cook more than 40 meals every week while in service and then pack up 80 boxes.

“It’s really important to give back as much as we can and we’re really thankful that we’re in a position to be able to give back as we know a lot of businesses have suffered.
"This year in particular with the economy being so bad, and people losing jobs, you worry that more people will be on the streets."
Becky Joyce, co-founder of Homeless Street Angels, added: "They absolutely loved it, it was a real treat. It was the highlight of the week and there was never any food left!"
