Dr Grady said Leeds Civic Trust said this year's lectures span the history of Leeds to the present day.

"My half-hour lectures aim to tempt city centre workers to nip out of their offices to Leeds Minster at lunchtime to enjoy the fascinating history of Leeds. The lectures are very enjoyable to prepare and I continue to be delighted by the large numbers of enthusiastic people who come to them. The lectures are free and no booking is required. As in previous years, the lectures will be full of surprises."

Martin Hamilton, director of Leeds Civic Trust, added: ‘I am delighted that Kevin will once again be delivering his fascinating lecture series. His passion for the history of Leeds is conveyed brilliantly in these talks - a real highlight of our events calendar here at the Trust.”
