However, he said he was also aware of the Covid rate surge in the area and many residents - including his ill mother - were "kept awake all night" due to the party.

Shocking pictures show the aftermath of the damage left strewn across the streets - Thornville Crescent and Meadow View.

Sukhvir said: "My 70 year old mother, nephew and nieces live here and my two year old granddaughter visits daily.

"We understand it is the end of term and there are parties, we accept this.

"But we understand there is a Covid surge aswell."

Sukhvir has now pleaded with the partygoers to return to the streets at 4pm today to help with a clean up operation alongside residents.

He said he will also attend and help out cleaning.

"May I thank you all in advance."
