John Charles Centre for Sport consists of the South Leeds Stadium, Aquatics Centre, Indoor Athletics Centre and Tennis Centre.

Hide AdIt has a capacity of around 4,000 people and is extremely popular.
In a Facebook post, a spokesperson for the centre said: "Due to unforeseen circumstances the complex will remain closed.
"We are doing all we can to reopen the facility as soon as possible.
"Whilst we know the closure will be disappointing, your patience is greatly appreciated."

Hide AdLeeds Council has now told the Yorkshire Evening Post that the centre has been closed since Friday due to "operation concerns" that arose from an "unauthorised" traveller camp which has moved onto the site.
A Leeds City Council spokesperson said: ‘’We are aware of, and are monitoring, the situation at John Charles Centre for Sport.
"The centre has been closed since Friday evening due to operational concerns that arose from unauthorised Gypsy and Traveller encampment on the site.
“The Council is actively working with partners to ensure that the Centre can re-open as soon as possible.
"Details of the re-opening arrangements will be shared with our customers and promoted through the Service’s social media channels.”
It is not yet known when the site will reopen.
