Huge power cut in Leeds with more than 250 homes affected

At least 400 homes across Yorkshire have lost power according to the Northern Powergrid.

In Leeds, 240 homes have lost power in LS8 - with power not expected to be restored before 6.45pm.

The following postcodes have been affected by power cuts in the region:

DL6,YO24: 100

LS17: 30

BD16: 30

LS8: 240

WF9: 60

DN3: 100

DN10,DN12,DN37,DN4,DN41: 20

The power is due to be restored across Yorkshire by later this evening.
