Mark Jordan was given the accolade by depot managers from operations and engineering and representatives from Unite the Union.
Mark, who joined First in 2015, said: “I was surprised and honoured to receive the award from our depot management team.
"Everyone likes to be recognised for the efforts they make at work and to be given such an accolade has been amazing.
“It really does make a positive difference to all relationships, which can only be a good thing for the future.”
Mark’s achievement has earned him a rest too, as part of his prize is an additional two days’ annual holiday in the coming year.
Alistair Timmis, operations manager at the Hunslet depot, said: “We had a really strong list of potential winners.
"Mark has an enviable customer record and is a consistently passionate employee, these being significant factors in our choice of winner and his recognition is well deserved.”
The First West Yorkshire Hunslet depot employs 550 staff and operates around 200 buses in the city.
