Amy Morgan, from East End Park, turned 23 on Thursday and was due to fly out to Dublin today for a birthday trip with her friends.

But thanks to her parents and younger sister Poppy, the Morgans brought the party into lockdown by turning their home into some of Leeds' iconic bars and clubs.

The boozy birthday started with a bottomless brunch at 'Manahatta', in the living room, before moving to a 'Bar Fibre' courtyard party outside.

It was then onto 'Dirty Martini' where Amy's dad served up lockdown cocktails - Pornstar Quarantine, Pina Corona and Long Isolation Ice Tea.

The night finished with cheesy dance classics at 'Pop World' - with Amy's dad on the decks - before Amy enjoyed a virtual party and quiz with her friends.

Amy, who works in banking, said: "I always do a bottomless brunch for my birthday and see where the afternoon day-drinking takes us, usually Dirty Martini and Fibre 2-4-1.

"My mum suggested the Leeds bar crawl and we all helped to create it.

"At some points I actually felt like I was out in Leeds with my family, they had done such a good job."

Amy's grandparents made a very special appearance on the bar crawl, playing blow-up trumpets at the courtyard party in their back garden.

The family dropped off some essential items and let themselves in through the back gate, keeping a safe distance from Amy's grandparents who are over 70 and in isolation.

Amy added: "My grandparents were counting the beat with each other to make sure they were in time, it was my favourite part!

"I might have had a lockdown birthday, but my family made it one of the best birthdays I've ever had.

"It's one I definitely won't forget."
