Euros Leeds: Trinity street named after Gareth Southgate in support of England
A street in Leeds has been named after Gareth Southgate in support of England ahead of the Euros.
The street, inside Trinity Leeds has been given the name Southgate Street.
Football fans can visit the sign and get a selfie for the duration of the Euros which ends on Sunday, July 11.
They can also get their hands on the official Euro 2020 football at the new Decathlon store at Trinity Leeds on Boar Lane.
David Maddison, centre director at Trinity Leeds, said: “We are sending our best wishes to the England team for this tournament and hoping we can push ahead and make it further than we did in the 2016 Euros.
“And if England do lift the trophy, we might have to make some more permanent street renaming changes here at the shopping centre – here’s hoping.”
