This year organisers took the light extravaganza up into the skies by creating a spectacular laser display projected from the top of seven city centre rooftops. The free Laser Light City show was created by Seb Lee-Delisle and allowed people to control the lasers from their phones. Viewers were able to direct the colour, direction and pattern of the lights' movements online and watch the show through their windows or a virtual stream.
