The new venture comprises of four fantastic studio spaces complete with cushioned wooden dance flooring, surround sound music system, mirrors and fresh air ventilation.

The owner of RISE Dance is Rosie Gentile, a professional national and international ballroom competitor who rose up the rankings to 109 in 2019.

Rosie and her professional partner Ian Whyatt took a step back from competing and decided it was time to push the school to the next level.

“The pandemic has created a number of challenges for the dance industry and dance schools," said Rosie. "We’ve been really overwhelmed by the support we’ve received from our existing customers and we want to take care of them during the pandemic. It has given us the push to create a better environment. We’ve found a lot of our students benefit from coming to us in more ways than just learning how to dance.

"For a lot of our dancers it is a weekly escape from the stress of day-to-day life and it also helps improve physical and mental health. For our children it allows them to develop coordination skills, builds confidence and self-esteem and is a fantastic fun way for them to keep fit."

She added: "Our new studio provides us the opportunity to create the perfect dancing environment, whilst also being a Covid secure space. It is our way of thanking our dancers for all their support during these difficult times and we hope to welcome lots of new people who would like to learn to dance.”
