Hide AdPudsey councillor Simon Seary has now organised a first aid CPR and defibrillator familiarisation training session for all local football coaches to attend on Tuesday (June 15).
The event will take place on Queens Park, Pudsey at 7pm.
First aid trainer Janice Whitehead and her team will talk the coaches through CPR and how to access one of the 21 defibrillators across Pudsey, Swinnow and Tyersal and how to use it, Cllr Seary said.
The session is expected to last an hour.
Cllr Seary said: "Attention all sports coaches.
"Feel free to pop over for a refresher, it’s all very informal but will allow coaches to get hands on and gain confidence."
