Christmas market jobs: Get paid £50 an hour to review festive fairs around the UK
If you love the festive period and a trip to a Christmas market, then this job vacancy could be perfect for you.
An online exhibition platform is searching to hire members of the public as ‘Christmas Fair Testers’.
What does the job involve?
As a Christmas Fair Tester you will travel around the UK for the duration of the Christmas period, reviewing Christmas markets in England, Wales and Scotland along the way.
If successful in your application, you will be paid £50 an hour and travel expenses. You can also enlist a friend to accompany you to each market - their travel expenses will also be covered.
The Christmas Fair Tester will only be paid to spend one hour at each market, and will be given spending money for their time there.
The chosen candidate must be available to attend a different market up to three times a week, and up to 10 markets between 6 and 24 December 2019, submitting detailed reviews of each market attended, including photographs.
Each review must be around 750 words, contain good photography and be submitted digitally before 10 January 2020. These reviews will be submitted to online exhibition platform ExpoCart.com.
To apply for the role, you must be over 18, have a full UK driving licence and love the Christmas period. Only the selected candidate will be contacted.
Jasmine Eilfield, co-founder and CPO of ExpoCart, said, “Christmas markets are one of the most popular attractions in the country, with thousands of people visiting them every day throughout the festive period.
“So, with our upcoming expansion into the consumer markets and fairs sector, we decided to take advantage of all of the fairs currently running, and do some market research of our own.
“Obviously we know this is a dream job for a lot of people, so we’re expecting a lot of applications. We’re excited to pick our Christmas Fair Tester and get them enjoying all of the Christmas fairs the UK has to offer.”
