Chris Kamara at Leeds White Rose Restaurant as TGI Fridays sponsors UK’s Strongest Man 2021
Chris Kamara visited Leeds White Rose as TGI Fridays announced its sponsorship of the UK's Strongest Man 2021.
Taking place at Stadium MK between Saturday May 29 – Monday May 31, athletes from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales will be gathering to compete in 13 gruelling tests of strength, in front of 12,000 socially distanced fans with the goal to be crowned the UK’s Strongest Man 2021.
As the official restaurant partner, Fridays will be fuelling athletes, crew and associates across the weekend.
On the Strongman menu will be premium meat options such as slow cooked & marinated ultimate ribs, 28-day aged steaks and burgers made from Fridays own recipe using prime cuts of brisket & chuck steak from British and Irish farms.
A Fridays discipline will also be incorporated within the main event which will see competitors lifting iconic Fridays motorcycles that are found in restaurants and give a nod to the brand’s American heritage.
Dan Staples, Fridays CMO, said: “Talk about the ultimate match up!
"Fridays is buzzing to be the official restaurant partner of UK’s Strongest Man 2021.
"It will be great to see fans inside the stadium watching live events and our Fridays Stadium MK restaurant is perfectly located to re-energise protein hungry athletes, crew and fans over the competition weekend with our great range of new menu items!”
Chris Kamara, UK’s Strongest Man’s host, said: “We are excited to be at Fridays MK Stadium over the May Bank Holiday. The restaurant will undoubtedly be packed with fans, athletes and me, of course! See you there for that Fridays Feeling!”
