Andy's Man Club to host huge party at Brudenell Social Club to celebrate second anniversary in Leeds

Andy's Man Club is set to celebrate the second anniversary of their first meeting in Leeds - with a huge party at the Brudenell Social Club.

Wednesday, 29th January 2020, 11:45 am

The club hosts 'non judgmental, talking groups for men' across the country, with thousands of men attending on a weekly basis.

They are also the creators of the viral #ITSOKAYTOTALK movement, which has seen huge support on social media.

Andy Wilson, 31, set up a meeting of the group in Leeds City Centre in early 2018.

Just two years later, the group has proved incredibly popular and now has over 50 attendees every week.

Now, members of the club and their friends and families are set to come together to celebrate at a party at the Brudenell Social Club on Sunday.

The event - from 3pm until close on Sunday February 2 - will play host to local Leeds bands which support mental health.

There will also be entertainers, magicians and speakers at the party, Andy said.

The Leeds club founder added: "It has been two years since I set the group up.

"We now have over 50 men every week come to talk, it is brilliant.

"There will be something for the whole family on Sunday and we want it to be an inclusive event, everyone is welcome."

Andy set up the group alongside his father Neil, 59, and friend Declan Storey following his own mental health problems.

Andy said: "It is nothing strenuous and everybody loves it.

"The Trailblazer meet is open to everybody and we had so many people last Sunday.
