Almost 200 Leeds homes left with no power for at least five hours due to outage - here is when it will be restored

Almost 200 homes in Leeds have been left with no power due to an outage.

At least 90 properties in LS17 and 80 in LS8 have been left with no power, according to the Northern Power Livegrid.

The power outage was first reported shortly before 6am this morning.

In LS17, the power is expected to be restored by 4pm this afternoon.

In LS8, the power is expected to be restored by around 2.30pm.

Northern PowerGrid said: "Our team are working hard to restore your power as quickly as possible.

"The power cut affecting your property has been caused by an unexpected problem with the electricity cable that serves your area."
