These pictures showcase gems in Leeds that we're very proud of - but most people would only know about them if they have lived or grew up in the city.

13. Leeds Grand Arcade
Serving as a vibrant link between Vicar Lane and New Briggate, The Grand Arcade in Leeds city centre was built in 1897. As well as popular food and drink venues, the sheltered walkway features various shops and the newly-refurbished William Potts clock. Photo: Jonathan Gawthorpe

A familiar skyline sight to many upon entering the city, the Yorkshire Evening Post clock tower has stood for more than 50 years. 15. Golden Acre Park
While Roundhay Park often captures the attention of visitors to Leeds, Golden Acre Park is also a stunning green space to rival its beauty. 16. Leeds Dock
Formerly known as Clarence Dock, Leeds Dock overlooks the water and is a staple of the city centre. It's home to the Royal Armouries, stylish and towering accommodation blocks plus a host of bars and restaurants. People can even take a 'water taxi' between Leeds Dock and Leeds City Station. 17. Leeds Industrial Museum
The heritage gem is based at the Grade II-Listed Armley Mills in West Leeds. Inside, visitors can see exhibitions dating back to the 18th century through to the present and tells the story of the city's rich history in industries including textiles and engineering. Photo: Bruce Rollinson
