8. James Frain
James Frain, of The Tudors, Orphan Black and Star Trek Discovery fame was actually born in Leeds. Frain, who is the eldest of eight children, was then bought up in Essex before he making his film debut in Shadowlands after being spotted by Richard Attenborough.
