HSBC in Chapel Allerton has closed down, meaning customers now have to travel over three miles to their closest branch.

Many HSBC customers weren't very happy with the number of HSBC branches closing.

Val Weller - "I’m 83 and walk with difficulty. Not alone. How are we supposed to get to a bank that we have been with most of our lives?"

Susan Nicholls - "My nearest bank is 12 miles away. It’s so ridiculous."

Lee Ellis - "My bank Barclays was shut in Owlcotes, nearest one was Horsforth that’s shutting now. End of banks on high street coming."

Gill Edwards - "My HSBC is the same closed and it is a half hour drive to my nearest."

Anne Fowler - "You can do all your banking at the Post Office, most banks, definitely HSBC."
