Why we must keep pulling together in Covid fight -the YEP says
More than 40,000 people have now been given the coronavirus vaccine in Leeds.
Health chiefs say that is the equivalent of five per cent of the city’s population.

The boost comes following a stark message over the weekend from the Government warning that “every flexibility” of the restrictions could prove fatal.
Leeds’ public health director, Victoria Eaton, said the key to ensuring how the latest measures remain effective is for our city to continue pull together as a collective in order to follow them.
There is no question that we are all feeling tired of the third national lockdown.
But Ms Eaton warns that the next few weeks are going to be tough however, she expects the city’s cases to flatten during that time.
Hope is incredibly important to help keep us going and that silver lining, which we should take heart in, is the administration of the vaccine.
But that doesn’t mean we can’t let our efforts wane - we must still pull together.
