Why Leeds must be vigilant to fight its way out of tier three Covid restrictions

Council leader Judith Blake warned that while many businesses are facing significant challenges in light of the measures, people must remain vigilant if Leeds is to successfully ascend from the third to second tier of Covid-19 rules by Christmas.

Unfortunately we have already seen some collapse altogether during the pandemic, and there may be more as the tough rules continue without extra support.

We now look to the Government and hope that ministers can give these businesses the support that they need to help them come out of this challenging period fighting.
