As a city we have seen some environmental gains – including cleaner air – during the pandemic as many people have reduced their use of cars while working from home.

Once lockdown eases and people return to the city centre in greater numbers on a daily basis, we want public transport to be a real option for those commuters who might otherwise turn to driving once again.

That means safe, reliable and regular services – with affordable fares to match.
