Today we pay tribute to the people whose lives you have so kindly shared with the Yorkshire Evening Post during this time.
They are the faces of those who mean so much; they are husbands, fathers, brothers, mothers, sisters, wives, daughters, sons and friends and colleagues of so many more.
They will all be in our city’s collective thoughts tonight as we reflect on the anguish and loss we have faced over the last three months.
Now it is for each of us to ensure their candles will never fade and continue to burn brightly in our memories for many years to come.
