The challenge of ensuring that people stay safe online is huge as technology continues to develop.

Today we look at the warning, from those leading the fight against terror, that perpetrators have countless platforms they can use for their gains to reach out to vulnerable people, especially children.

They claim whack-a-mole-style groups are emerging and disappearing, leaving detectives in a game of cat and mouse.

And as more people - especially young adults and children- turn to an online world to stay connected, surely society has a moral duty to protect them from harmful content.
