Sunday, April 26, 1992. The landmark day which saw the club handed their first championship title for 18 years.

For a generation of fans it was a moment of sheer ecstasy.

The city was awash with celebration to thank Howard Wilkinson’s team for bringing the coveted trophy to Leeds.

The following week an open top bus tour paraded the champions through the city’s streets as the Headrow was awash with a sea of fans joining in the festivities.

Quite simply, they were heroes.

While the pause button may be the order of the day for Leeds United and the football season at the moment - today the Yorkshire Evening Post takes a look at that momentous win and shares your memories and dedicates nine pages to it in today's newspaper.
