We are not in this together in the fight against coronavirus - YEP letters

It is time for some myth-busting.

The slogan, “we are all in this together” no longer rings true in the fight against Covid-19.

I have visited my local convenience store twice since July 24, and apart from one person, nobody wore a face mask.

Today I challenged a shopper to ask if she knew that masks should be worn in-store.

In view of the three-fold spike in Leeds` infections reported today, should not Leeds City Council be stepping in to see that our city’s efforts to protect citizens are not thwarted by those sovereign citizens who believe they have the right to do as they please with no thought for the vulnerable and our NHS.

We are NOT in this together!
