Generally, I have supported the government in its Covid-19 actions.

Some mistakes have been made, but the advance plans were for a flu pandemic so not all the preparations were useful. But I won’t “move on” from the outrageous Dominic Cummings issue.

It was clear that people should not travel to second homes to isolate or drive for a jolly outing. Ergo he ignored the rules everybody else was expected to follow.

This, to me, is not a matter of breaking the law, but of breaking trust with all the families who have made heroic sacrifices for the sake of the country.
