RE: Boris Johnson’s latest announcement that his government is to undertake 10,000,000 coronavirus tests per day.

His Health Minister, Matt Hancock, already failed to achieve his initial target of 100,000 per day despite the fictitious figure he announced on May 1, then went on to double the testing figure which again failed to be achieved, as stated by experts.

Now we have the PM stating another fictitious figure, especially when some of the technology to make it potentially possible does not even exist - so how does the PM hope to achieve his figure and when?

What a farcical statement by the leader of our country.

The PM, who started his tenure on top of the hill with so many good intentions, has been going downhill ever since and is still going.

Many will be disillusioned by the PM’s performance to date as weak, indecisive and leaving the door wide open for the other lot.

What the country requires is leadership, not continuous waffle, contradictions, inaccuracies and significant decision reversals (around 14 to date).

As for Operation Moonshot, the comical tag attached to the PM’s announcement on September 10, it will more likely be a ‘Shot in the Dark’.

It‘s all just another addition to the already farcical performance by some of the government’s front bench MPs and simply not good enough.
