'Keep calm and stay united': Why now is the time to show the best of humanity in Leeds during coronavirus outbreak - the YEP says

It comes after it was announced that Leeds United matches have been postponed and Leeds Rhinos voted with their feet and decided to shelve their latest fixture.

The Prime Minister this week has warned of the wide-reaching impact of Coronavirus on the elderly population but he also called on a full national effort to ensure that this “country will get through this epidemic."

That is why it is more important than ever to showcase the very best of humanity and make sure that each of us, who is able to, takes the time to look out for our families, colleagues and neighbours during these unprecedented times.

But the most important thing - and safety is paramount - is that we as a city demonstrate our ability to remain united and continue marching on together.
