The diner, which has held spots at places like Trinity Kitchen, Eat North and Chow Down, will be occupying one of six food units at Assembly – a new underground food and drink venue opening in mid-November in a prime location just off Millennium Square.

With a vibrant programme of events in the pipeline and Vocation Brewery bringing in a speakeasy bar and 50 beer lines, Assembly is the ideal home for Slap & Pickle and the ‘burgers, vibes and loaded fries’ promised by the unit’s neon sign.

Slap & Pickle’s main food offer at Assembly will be the off-the-wall loaded fries that have already proved popular on social media, as well as juicy burgers, hotdogs and vegan options.

The diner also offers ‘holiday vibes’ year round to make it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a good feed.

The business will also be rolling out a series of initiatives to promote positive mental wellbeing amongst the people of Leeds as mental health is a subject close to all of Slap & Pickle’s team members’ hearts.
